Your support can assist a grieving child. As a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, the Center's growth depends on contributions from individuals, businesses, clubs, foundations, and organizations. Fees are not charged and children in need are never turned away.
Guardians of the Light
Many of the children and teens who come to WillMar Center participate in
group sessions for a year or more, with services provided free
of charge. You can cover the cost for a child or teen for one year by
contributing $1,200 yearly (or $100 per month) to the Guardians of the
Light program.
Join this special group of donors and carry the
light for others. You can help ensure that WillMar Center is able to
serve all those that pass through our doors as we continue to provide a
safe, healing environment and compassionate support to each and every
child and teen grieving the loss of a loved one.
The Generosity of Volunteers
Trained volunteers and credentialed health care professionals offer
hours of their time to facilitate the many on-going support groups for
children, teens, and adults.
They also willingly provide
community education programs and presentations. Enthusiastic volunteers
also assist with fundraising activities and serve on the WillMar Center
Board of Directors. All of these dedicated individuals make the mission
